Our instructors spend their days comparing financial statements and market positions. They'll share the frameworks they actually use, not just textbook theories.

Brynjar Tvedten
Comparative Analysis Lead
Spent eight years building comparison models for manufacturing firms. His approach strips away complexity and focuses on what actually matters when you're evaluating two companies side by side.

Liselotte Vangberg
Market Context Specialist
Works with Taiwan-based businesses daily. She teaches how local market conditions affect financial performance, something most analysis courses completely miss.

Torvald Bjørnstad
Ratio Analysis Expert
Built his career dissecting balance sheets. He'll show you which ratios reveal genuine insights and which ones waste your time when comparing competitors.

Dagny Solheim
Case Study Director
Brings real comparisons from her consulting work. You'll analyze actual companies she's studied, learning to spot patterns that indicate financial strength or weakness.

Build Analysis Skills That Actually Work
Most finance courses teach you formulas. We teach you judgment. Over twelve weeks, you'll compare real companies, make calls about their relative strengths, and defend your conclusions.
Each session centers on a different comparison framework. You'll examine companies in similar markets, study how business models affect financials, and learn to spot when numbers tell misleading stories.
- Weekly analysis of actual Taiwan-based company pairs
- Direct feedback on your written comparisons
- Small group sessions with working analysts
- Access to real financial statements and market data
- Framework templates you can adapt for your own work
Real Projects Our Students Completed
These aren't hypothetical exercises. Past participants analyzed actual companies and produced work that impressed their employers or clients.

Retail Chain Comparison Study
A participant compared two regional grocery chains, identifying why one maintained better margins despite lower revenue. Her analysis revealed inventory management differences that weren't obvious from basic ratios.
She now handles competitive analysis for a consulting firm.
Manufacturing Efficiency Analysis
One student examined two electronics manufacturers with similar products but different financial trajectories. His deep comparison uncovered operational patterns that explained the performance gap.
His employer promoted him to a financial planning role based on this work.
Tech Startup Viability Assessment
A participant compared early-stage tech companies, evaluating burn rates and growth patterns. Her framework helped identify which firm had more sustainable unit economics.
She adapted this approach for her venture capital job interviews.
